Each year, the Utah Afterschool Network invites nominations for the Utah Afterschool Awards, which honor outstanding afterschool educators, programs, and individuals for their dedication and impact in the field.
The Utah Afterschool Awards also highlight the success of programs in providing intentional programming that meets the developmental needs of youth and families in their communities.
Candidates may come from nonprofit, public, private, faith-based, or childcare centers, as well as any other program that supports youth during non-school hours in Utah. Past winners (listed below) are not eligible to receive an award in the same category in subsequent years.
2025-26 Utah Afterschool Award NOMINATION FORMS:
The submission deadline is March 20, 2026.
The nominator in each application will be notified in early April if their nominee has been selected to receive an award. The program award finalist will be recognized in a virtual format during Afterschool Appreciation Week, April 20-24th. UAN will work individually with the program, school, or center, to schedule a time to present the finalist with their award.
