Northern Recharge is one full day of packed presentations designed to support afterschool professionals with high-quality professional development. Northern Recharge will be held at Glendale Middle School, Salt Lake City,  on February 22, 2025. Professional learning events like Northern Recharge play a crucial role in developing afterschool staff, educators, emerging leaders, and program administrators. This event provides a platform for individuals involved in afterschool programming to enhance their skills, stay updated on best practices, and latest trends, and connect with others in the field.

Northern Recharge Workshop Registration | Closed

Registration for Northern Recharge is officially closed, and we can’t wait to see you on Saturday, February 22, at Glendale Middle School (1430 Andrew Ave, Salt Lake City).

• Check-in & Breakfast: Registration opens at 8:00 AM with a continental breakfast.
• Opening Session: Begins promptly at 9:00 AM in the auditorium.

Professional Development and Hotel Awards | Closed

In partnership with the Utah Department of Workforce Services, Office of Child Care, and the George S. and Dolores Dore' Eccles Foundation, the Utah Afterschool Network is providing Professional Development Assistance Award opportunities to out-of-school time professionals in Utah to help offset the registration cost for Southern Recharge in Cedar City and Northern Recharge in Salt Lake City. Hotel Assistance Awards are also available to assist with hotel accommodations for individuals attending either training, with priority given to organizations more than 90 miles from the venues. PD & Hotel Awards will close on December 18th, 2024. The due date has been extended to Jan 8!

Workshop Volunteers | Closed

Step forward and lend us a hand! This is a great way to be a part of the UAN team, make new friends, and build a career network. Volunteers support registration, room hosting, directing traffic, and presenter support. Volunteers are vital to the success of our events. Join us today and receive a $40 discount to offset the cost of registration.
