Afterschool Day on the Hill

Afterschool programs in Utah play a vital role in supporting kids, families, and communities across the state. Join the Utah Afterschool Network for Afterschool Day on the Hill during the 2025 State Legislative Session to advocate for kids and the programs that uplift them.

Who Can Participate? Afterschool, summer, and other youth-serving organizations and agencies are invited to join us at the State Capitol to:

• Table: Showcase your organization and the impactful work you’re doing.
• Perform: Highlight the unique talents and skills your program’s youth have developed in afterschool activities.
• Advocate: Encourage parents, youth, and staff to meet with legislators at the event or schedule appointments to discuss the importance of afterschool programs.
• Learn: Connect with your State Representative or Senator for a tour of the Capitol or a chance to observe the legislative process firsthand, including a visit to the House or Senate floor.
