Encircle 

Encircle offers “Encircle Homes” where LGBTQ+ youth 12-25 can drop in any time between 2pm-8pm Monday through Friday to study, connect with others, access resources and have cookies. It also provides reduced cost therapy, support groups, and friendship circles for parents and allies. Encircle has a number of online resources available in both English and Spanish. Locations are in Provo, St. George, and Salt Lake City.

Salt Lake Community College

In addition to the Queer Student Association and LGBTQ+ Committee,  Salt Lake Community College (SLCC) has a clearinghouse of local and national resources available online that cover a myriad of topics, such as support for specific nationalities and demographics,advocacy, education, athletics, health and wellness, workplace, and legal issues.

PFLAG

PFLAG is an organization for LGBTQ+ individuals and their parents, families, and allies.  PFLAG has downloadable resources, advocacy one-pagers, information specific to LGBTQ+ youth and children, LGBTQ+ people of color, and scholarship programs. It also offers PFLAG Academy online, free learning sessions. There are five chapters in Utah at this time: Salt Lake County, Cache County, Utah County, Salt Lake City, and St. George.

Ogden Pride 

Ogden Pride OUTReach Program is available for all LGBTQ+ youth in Northern Utah.  The support group meets twice a month, with a meal served once a month.  Additionally, the program provides ally and advocate training to those who work with and support LGBTQ+ youth. The program provides crisis response and referral.

Cache Pride Center 

Cache Pride Center provides a weekly hot meal and check-in. Resources include support groups, one-on-one therapy, workshops, games, peer support, tutoring and more. The center also helps provide basic needs for those that might need them.

The Cole Project 

While not specifically for LGBTQ+ youth, The Cole Project is a Utah program that provides peer support groups for youth 13-25 struggling with grief or otherwise in need of support. It is a music-based program allowing youth to express and process their situations and emotions. 

There are three types of groups available for youth to join: Song Writers Group, Peer Support Groups, and Peer Support groups. All groups are free to join.

University of Utah Health

The Trans Health Program at University of Utah Health provides healthcare to trans adults and teens. It offers a trans-affirmative environment for patients. Services include primary care, surgery, hormone therapy, mental health and counseling services, and nutrition services.

Utah Pride Center 

Utah Pride Center is a program offering a safe space for members of the LGBTQ+ community as well as the community at large to come together. The center offers several programs to support the community. The 1 to 5 Club, People of Color and Allies, Public Safety Pride Alliance, TransAction, Sage Utah, and the Utah Queer Historical Society all offer events and in-person support, though many have moved online due to COVID-19. There are also programs for youth, parents and caregivers, and schools. The Pride Center has trainings on Cultural Competency and QPR Suicide Prevention. Additionally, the Pride Center hosts several conferences and other events throughout the year. Finally, there is a large resource library available.

LGBTQ-Affirmative Therapist Guild of Utah 

They provide education and training to support sexual and gender diversity in Utah. They focus on outreach, networking, continuing education, training, and social media awareness.
