TITLE: Resource Development Associate
COMPENSATION: Starting pay $20–24/hour depending on experience
HOURS: Full-time, benefitted position, 40 hours/week

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Utah County provides in-school, afterschool, and summer learning opportunities and services to youth throughout Utah County. Under the direction of the Deputy Director, provides support for the Club’s annual fundraising efforts by soliciting donations, coordinating event logistics, attending planning meetings, preparing event materials, processing donations, and coordinating corporate sponsorships and volunteer events.

KEY ROLES (Essential Job Responsibilities):
Work with Club management to solicit corporations, community groups, and individuals for donations and other support
Plan and implement special fundraising events and annual giving campaign
Manage administrative systems to track fundraising income and compile reports
Attend various committee meetings
Track and manage donor data, process donations, and send thank you letters
Plan and execute steps for donor identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship
Coordinate corporate sponsorships and volunteer events
Manage social media accounts and create a social media and marketing strategic plan
Other duties as assigned

Bachelor’s Degree
1–2 years experience in fundraising, event planning, and/or marketing
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong project management, administrative, and organizational skills
Knowledge of desktop publishing, basic computer applications, and social media channels
Ability to manage multiple priorities, be attentive to details, and work independently
Ability to collect, organize, and analyze data related to donor giving
Professional and welcoming demeanor and attitude

If hired, applicant will be required to work a set schedule and be available for extra hours for fundraisers and day-of-event execution; this may include some evenings and Saturdays. Applicants must also successfully pass a federal fingerprint and background screening.
