Organization: BEACON Afterschool Program
The HMK Site Coordinator oversees the daily management of the HMK BEACON program. This includes hiring, training and supervising elementary part time staff. Working with the Elementary Programs Manager, this position will design and implement afterschool club offerings and support enrichment and academic staff in lesson plan development.

This key leadership role is supervised by the Elementary Program Manager and works to ensure that BEACON Afterschool Program provides high quality programming, meets standards outlined by funding partners, and works as part of the BEACON leadership team to best serve the Moab community and meet the needs of the Grand County School District.
This is a salaried position with benefits.
Year 1: $28,986.00
1600 contract hours / 200 contract days
This position follows the school calendar (working August-mid June). Some evenings and weekend days are required.

Commitment and passion to and for creating and growing top quality youth programs.
Strong organization, communication, time management, and problem solving skills. Strength and experience in working as a team.
Previous experience with program/team management and supervisory roles.
Ability to balance varied job responsibilities while meeting necessary deadlines.
Dependable and flexible.
Experience using Microsoft Office/Google Docs and with data input and willingness to learn new data programs
Experience and comfort working with elementary aged students.
College degree (preferably in relevant fields) or exemplary experience in this field of work.
Must pass a BCU background check.
