Organization: BEACON Afterschool Program
The BEACON Teen Programs Manager is responsible for overall administration and implementation of BEACON Afterschool enrichment and academic programming in secondary schools. This key leadership role is supervised by the BEACON Director and works to ensure that BEACON Afterschool Program provides high-quality programming, meets standards outlined by funding partners, and meets the needs of Grand County School District.
This position directly supervises and oversees the work of secondary school BEACON part time staff, and volunteers; and ensures day to day program implementation, and works as part of the BEACON Admin team to best serve the Moab community.
This is a 200 day contracted position which follows the school calendar (working August-mid June). Some evenings are required.
This is a salaried position with benefits, this posting will remain open until filled.
Year 1: $30,276

Desired Skills and Qualifications
Commitment and passion to and for creating and growing top quality youth programs.
Strong organization, communication, time management, and problem solving skills. Strength and experience in working as a team.
Previous experience with program/team management and supervisory roles.
Ability to balance varied job responsibilities while meeting necessary deadlines.
Dependable and flexible.
Experience using Microsoft Office/Google Docs and with data input and willingness to learn new data programs
Experience and comfort working with middle school aged students.
College degree (preferably in relevant fields) or exemplary experience in this field of work.
Must pass a BCU background check.
Experience with fundraising and event coordination preferred.
