TITLE: HR Coordinator

COMPENSATION: Starting pay $15-$20/hour depending on experience

HOURS: Full-time, 40 Hours/Week

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Utah County provides in-school, afterschool, and summer learning opportunities and services to youth throughout Utah County. Under the direction of the Development Director, the HR Coordinator provides human resource, hiring, and administrative support to all of the Club’s programs and departments.

KEY ROLES (Essential Job Responsibilities):

Work with program directors and staff to create job descriptions for available positions
Post job opportunities on Club website and various online job boards
Assess job applications and assist program staff in scheduling and conducting interviews
Ensure new hires fill all new hire paperwork and general onboarding processes
Process background checks on all new employees and volunteers
Enter new hires into all Club systems (payroll, timesheets, benefits, etc)
Develop new hire processes to ensure efficiency and efficacy
Process changes in employment status, terminations, and other employee related documents
Maintain personnel files for all employees
Compile payroll and expense documentation for grant reimbursements
Fill out purchase order forms
Scan and upload receipts into an online system
Answer phones and general receptionist duties
Other duties as assigned

Minimum of 21 years of age
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong project management, administrative, and organizational skills
Knowledge of desktop publishing and basic computer applications
Able to manage multiple priorities and be attentive to details
Professional and welcoming demeanor and attitude
College degree preferred

If hired, applicant will be required to work a set schedule Monday through Friday. Applicant must also successfully pass a federal fingerprint and background screening.
