Salary: $12.00 /hour
Plan and implement a national accredited Preschool class to ensure health, safety and educational opportunities enrichment of children birth through age five.
Responsibilities:
Planning, implementing and supervising Pre-k education activities in order to enhance their cognitive, social, emotional and physical growth.
Provide developmentally-appropriate education and care, comfort, nurturing and guidance to Pre-k children in order to enhance their emotional and physical growth as outlined by NAEYC and State Licensing guidelines.
Work with teaching team to create and maintain a cheerful, aesthetically pleasing childcare environment that reflects the cultural diversity and interests of the children.
Ensure the cleanliness, orderliness, and safety of facility according to health and hygiene standards, including but not limited to the toileting area, toys, cots, sheets, diaper changing area and foodservice/preparation area.
Responsible for accurate record keeping, data collection, and anecdotal child reports in order to ensure coordinated departmental interventions.

Maintain compliance standards for Child Care Licensing, Federal Food Program, NAEYC Accreditation, Grant requirements, and YWCA standards.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
18 years of age. Bachelor’s Degree, Associate’s Degree or CDA preferred.
If no CDA upon hire, must be willing to obtain CDA or have experience working with ages 0-5. Preschool experience preferred.
Meet all State Child Care Licensing Requirements including Food Handler’s permit, CPR/First Aid.
Ability to work assigned hours on a regular basis.
Ability to work sensitively and effectively with diverse populations
Valid Utah driver’s license, current automobile insurance, and motor vehicle check (if required).
Reports to: Director of Lolie Eccles Early Education Center
Hours: 40 Hrs/wk
Salary: $12.00/Hr, negotiable depending on education, plus full benefits and retirement.
