Organization: Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Salt LakeJOB SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the Program Director, the Assistant Teacher is responsible for planning and implementing educational activities with children. The Assistant Teacher’s primary focus is youth enrichment and safety. The Assistant Teacher will be required to drive the children in a club vehicle.
MIMIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Must pass all required background checks
• Must pass drug screening
• Must be able to attend required child care trainings throughout the year
• Experience working with youth/children a plus
• 21 years of age or older
• Valid driver license with clean driving record
• Preference will be given to candidates with Early Childhood Education, CDA, and/or experience in a teaching position
