Organization: Boys & Girls Clubs of Utah CountyWork Study–America Reads Tutor/Reading & Math Specialist
Pay Range: $9.50–11.50/hr DOE
Summary:
Tutoring elementary age students one-on-one or in small groups.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Basic reading and math skills.
Ability to work with young children.
Ability to follow through with assignments, schedules, and reporting hours.
Required Qualifications:
Must be a current UVU student.
Preferred Qualifications:
Flexible schedule with availability during the day.
Physical Requirements:
Must have own transportation. Tutoring takes place at elementary schools or tutoring center off-campus. Paid travel time can be included if driving off campus.
Schedule:
Geneva Elementary: M 1:15–5:30pm; T-F 2:15–5:30pm
Sharon Elementary: M 1:15–5:30pm; T-F 2:15–5:30pm
Cherry Hill Elementary: M 1:15–5:30pm; T-F 2:15–5:30pm
Provo Clubhouse: M–TH 3:20–5:30pm; F 1:30–5:30pm
Sunset View Elementary: M–TH 3:20–5:30pm; F 1:30–5:30pm
Timpanogos Elementary: M–TH 3:20–5:30pm; F 1:30–5:30pm
