Organization: Tennis and Tutoring Program
Tennis and Tutoring, an afterschool sports-based educational program for deserving students in underserved communities, is hiring an Executive Director to lead the organization into its second decade of success. The Executive Director reports directly to the Tennis and Tutoring Board of Directors and is responsible for leading fundraising, communications, curriculum development, and staff management activities to support multiple program sites. The preferred candidate will have excellent communications and advocacy skills, inclusive and effective management experience, and a proven track record of developing and implementing youth programs in education and/or athletics. The Executive Director must show the ability to maintain an organizational culture that supports and inspires students, families, staff, volunteers, and funders.

++Job Requirements++
Develop existing programs as well as create and staff new programs.
Develop curriculum in collaboration with school administrators, teachers, advisors and accepted best practices in the field.
Supervise and train multiple site's classroom teachers and tutors.
Demonstrate knowledge and respect for diversity in daily activities and in program development.
Ability to provide education and training in group settings.
Will learn "10 and under" tennis methodology through USTA’s Net Generation curriculum and support staff training with and use of curriculum.
Maintain and create policies and procedures to ensure children's safety.
Supervise a part time staff of 5 or more employees, including recruiting, hiring, training and completing annual staff performance evaluations.
Prepare and submit monthly financial records and ensure accuracy of financial information.
Prepare impact studies as directed by the Board of Directors and as required by grant contracts
Maintain organization legal documents and licenses (insurance, NJTL registration, charitable solicitation license and business license, affinity group memberships)
Meet with potential donors, sponsors and volunteer organizations on a regular basis to steward financial, in kind, and service contributions.
Support and participate in agency marketing, public affairs, fundraising and community activities through outreach and networking.
Accept direction and support objectives, goals, and values as set by the Board of Directors.

++Preferred Qualifications++
4+ years relevant experience in nonprofit, community education, or youth sports program development and/or management
Experience in curriculum development and facilitation.
Experience working with diverse populations and local community groups
Experience with grant writing and reporting
Knowledge of the Utah State Office of Education core curriculum
Knowledge of best practices in nonprofit management
Must be enthusiastic, energetic, with strong interpersonal communication.
Must be organized and able to work well both independently and with a team
Must be willing to take and pass a criminal background check.
Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
Able to effectively supervise, train, evaluate and motivate staff and volunteers
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and G Suite by Google as well as experience editing and maintaining websites, donor databases, and social media

This is a part time position, approximately 20-25 hours per week. While some hours are flexible and may be completed remotely, ED must be available to support program staff as needed during program hours of
