Afterschool Specialist (Part-Time)
Description
Organization: Dual Immersion Academy$12.50 HR up to 29 hours weekly
Hours: 2-6pm Monday-Thursday 1-6pm Fridays
Start Date: Aug. 13th 2018
This is a new program and the specialist will work under the direction of the Afterschool Director to build and maintain our afterschool program.
Job Description: Includes planning and implementing a variety of recreational and educational programs for youth with an emphasis on Dual Immersion Academy mission/vision including: academic success in both English and Spanish, following PUMA power rules, the 7 Habits for Happy Kids and other program information for grades 2-3 or 4-5.
Skills Needed: Must be Bilingual/Biliterate (read, write, and speak in Spanish/English)
Must be creative, flexible and enjoy working with youth.
Must be able to meet deadlines and complete assigned duties.
Must have prior youth experience and be able to handle groups of children between the ages of 4 – 12 years of age.
Must be able to pass a background check
