Content experts from Dr. Aaron Fischer's team within the University of Utah Department of Educational Psychology have designed the Well-Being Institute (WBI) to provide research-based strategies to individuals serving all ages of youth in an out-of-school time setting. WBI will cover topics such as functions of behavior, strategies of engagement, and restorative practices. This year we've enhanced opportunities for attendee engagement and hands-on learning. We can't wait to see you! WBI will be held for one day, Saturday, September 7th, 9:00 am-3:00 pm at the Neighborhood House, in Salt Lake City. 

Included in the price of Well-Being Institute are 4 hours of online modular training, and 6 hours of in-person training with Dr. Aaron Fischer and his team! Our host location will be in the Salt Lake Area. Bring your team (suggested), come solo, or with a colleague. Registration is limited, guarantee your spot today and register before seats run out. Registration will close as soon as the capacity is reached,  or on August 30, 2024. Financial Assistance

Utah Afterschool Network in partnership with the Utah Department of Workforce Services, Office of Child Care, provides Professional Development Assistance Awards to help offset the cost of this training. Applications for the Professional Development Assistance Awards have closed. Award recipients will be notified by Aug 2. If you have any questions reach out to . The Professional Development Award value is $40. The organization is responsible for the additional $75 registration costs associated with the training.
