Description
The Well-Being Institute, focuses on providing comprehensive well-being supports to afterschool staff and educators in a cycle beginning in September 2022 and ending in May 2023. Two virtual, concurrent tracks (elementary and secondary) will provide participants with strategies and supports to maximize student social-emotional, behavior, and academic outcomes. Featuring expert facilitators from the University of Utah Department of Educational Psychology
September 21 | Participate in 4 eLearning ONLINE modules to gain a baseline understanding of well-being supports
October 5 | 9:30 AM MT | 2.5 hour virtual kick off training focusing on multi-tiered trauma informed mental health supports in schools, social-emotional learning for youth, etc

February 1 | 10 AM MT| 1 hour virtual training focusing on cultural responsiveness and building relationships
March 1 | 10 AM MT| 1 hour virtual training focusing on thinking functionally about addressing behavior and social-emotional concerns
