19th Annual Jump Start Conference

 

The 19th Annual Jump Start Afterschool Conference is a professional learning event for afterschool staff, educators, emerging leaders, and program administrators. Throughout the conference, attendees have opportunities to expand their knowledge of afterschool programming, network with others in the field, and learn new strategies to help improve outcomes for the youth they serve.

As this year marks our 2nd year back in-person, UAN is excited to celebrate the strides we have made as a community in afterschool and focus on our theme Keys to Quality. The 2023 Jump Start Afterschool Conference will guide us on strategies around quality in afterschool programming, and reconceptualize keys to success. Experts keynote speakers and presenters will empower attendees on every level to continue to strive for the best quality in afterschool programming.  Hotel Group Rates and Accommodations

Coming to Jump Start this year? UAN has secured a selection of discounted rooms under a group rate at two hotels within a few blocks of the Eccles Conference Center. These rooms are available to conference attendees on a first-come, first-served basis, so be sure to snag one soon! Reservations may be made online or by calling the hotel(s) and mentioning the Utah Afterschool Network.

PD and Hotel Financial Assistance Awards | Closed

Utah Afterschool Network, would like to thank our partnership with the Utah Department of Workforce Services, Office of Child Care, for providing Professional Development and Hotel Assistance Awards to help offset the cost of attending the two day Jump Start conference. The application closed on September 6, and notifications will be sent out via email by September 13.
