Stringing Together: Music & Science Integration in the Classroom - Weber State

Inspired by Gabriel Royal’s concert presented by Onstage Ogden, Weber State University's Arts Learning Collaborative and Center for Science and Mathematics Education are excited to offer a teacher workshop exploring connections between music and science. Participants will engage in hands-on arts-integrated activities they can use to string together the Utah Fine Arts & SEEd Standards. This event is directed toward elementary and secondary music, science, and general classroom teachers.

Presenters:

Dr. Adam Johnston is a Professor of Physics and Director of the Center for Science and Mathematics Education at Weber State University.

Samantha Steffan is the BTS Arts Program Coordinator in the Arts Learning Collaborative at Weber State University.
