SEL Toolkit of Practical Strategies and Resources for Diverse Learners

Get ready for an exhilarating professional learning opportunity! Join us as UAN teams up with the  Utah Department of Health & Human Services, Office of Maternal & Child Health, Division of Family Health, to empower afterschool providers statewide. This initiative is all about enhancing skills in behavior and social-emotional support for youth aged 10-19. Dive into dynamic workshops, connect with fellow educators, and gain insights that will elevate your impact on diverse youth learners. Don't miss this chance to expand your expertise and make a lasting difference in afterschool programs across Utah!

Helping afterschool professionals more effectively deliver and adapt brief academic interventions is critical to improving student outcomes. Learn common barriers and how to share simple strategies that busy afterschool teachers can successfully employ. Walk away with online resources and handouts to use in your afterschool program.

This training is highly interactive and activities promote and highlight adolescence as a key time to support SEL.
