This training is hosted by Promise South Salt Lake, open to eligible, and approved for Section One of the Afterschool Professional Development Incentive.
Mental Health First Aid (YMHFA) is a public education program introducing participants to risk factors and warning signs of mental health problems in adolescents by building an understanding of the importance of early intervention and teaching how to help an adolescent in a crisis or experiencing a challenge by providing support.
Participants must attend the 8-hour training to receive YMHFA certificate. For more information, visit www.mentalhealthfirstaid.org.
