Data Use in Out-of-School Time, Part I

Out-of-school time programs sometimes struggle to define and measure what afterschool does, and why it matters for kids and families. Too often, programs are asked to measure outcomes that are only tangentially related to what they do, which can be frustrating for everyone. It doesn’t have to be this way!

In this session, the Afterschool Alliance in partnership with Every Hour Counts will share their new Measurement Framework and how two out-of-school time intermediaries, Boston After School & Beyond and the Providence After School Alliance,  put the framework into practice. Presenters will share useful tips for intermediaries and out-of-school time networks on how to apply the measurement framework to their own continuous improvement process.
