Behavior Management Institute

It's that time again!

Join expert facilitators from the University of Utah Department of Educational Psychology in this team-approach to behavior management for teams from the same afterschool program/site location. Attendees will be divided into age-appropriate groups to cover topics such as functions of behavior, strategies of engagement, and motivational interviews. Following the training, UAN will conduct two program observations to teams who have at least three members in attendance. These observations will assist teams in implementing strategies learned at the training. Also, after the training, a follow-up webinar will be offered by the facilitators to address challenges teams are presented with when implementing strategies. 

Cost: $75/individual (payment will be due during registration)

Professional Development Award opportunities will be available and valued at $40.
