Meet Branna, the wild child with a heart as big as Wild West! Hailing from the bluesy vibes of Memphis, she traded her blue suede shoes for hiking boots and ventured to Montana to chase her dreams. Armed with degrees in Wildlife Biology and Ecology, she's on a mission to spread education for nature and the sciences.
In college, Branna wasn't just hitting the books—she was leading the charge in outreach programs for the Humane Society and Natural History Center of Montana. Forget crunching data through "R" for hours; she discovered her true love was captivating audiences.
Fast forward to Utah, where Branna became an outreach educator at the Living Planet Aquarium. Traveling the state, spreading joy and knowledge like confetti, she fell head over fins for Utah's unique educational collaborations. Post-pandemic, she landed at Discovery Gateway, morphing into the Education Manager extraordinaire. From outreach to field trips, and summer camps to grant writing, she's the wizard behind the educational curtain.
Outside the nine-to-five hustle, Branna is the Jack-of-all-Trades, sampling life's buffet with gusto. Art is her playground, from Digital magic to charcoal escapades and watercolor to pyrography. An adventurer at heart, she conquers boulders, kayaks through life, and hikes the path less traveled. She also enjoys any and all things fantasy. Historical Medieval dress-up? Check. DnD campaign? Five years strong. Audiobooks at 2x speed? Now, that's a quest!
Back at her mini homestead, Branna's the queen of reptiles, dogs, and livestock. When she's not wrangling critters, she's plotting the next epic journey with her husband and friends. Branna: educator, artist, adventurer—living life like it's one big, wild ride!
