It is there in the shiniest place on earth that she discovered her love and enthusiasm for afterschool programming while earning her degree from UNLV
in Recreation and Youth Development. Brittany spent many years leading school-age youth programs because life is more fun with games. Meanwhile, in Vegas, she graduated and found a winning position with Communities in Schools, and her passion for community engagement and academic achievement developed during her time working there.
Brittany could be found connecting students and their families to necessary resources that remove barriers to success. Brittany saw the neon sign and it opened up her eyes so she moved to be-Utah-ful Salt Lake City with her husband and two son's leaving her favorite desert mirage to play in the snow.
