Anna’s yellow brick road has been full of adventure, curling, curved and circling paths. All to lead her back home to Utah. There is no place like home!
Anna grew up in Utah and began her journey in afterschool in Logan, UT as a School District Coordinator for Afterschool. As with all good stories, a twist was on the horizon. Anna was swept away from her home, to the magical dry land of Arizona. Where she experienced finding new friends at United Cerebral Palsy, Arizona Literacy Center, and learned that a bucket of water is not how one melts.
After melting in the hot, sparkling sun of Arizona for 15 years. Anna clicked her ruby heels 3 times and returned to Utah. Anna found her heart and remembered how much she loved working in afterschool programs. She joined the YMCA of Northern Utah as the Youth Development Director, and shined her way through leading 15 afterschool sites, 4 summer programs, and conquering the wicked ways of grant fidelity. Anna’s journey continued as she flew by bubble over to UAN and landed in a new adventure. Anna dreams in color at UAN and uses her innovative mind to plan the most memorable experiences. Anna's favorite color is glitter and she always has an emergency supply with her at all times. You never know when one will need to celebrate along the yellow brick road.
