Savannah Odekirk

Out-of-School Time Specialist

Savannah grew up with 3 older sisters, moving around in an Army family. With the family settling down in Layton, Utah and feeling at home in the Wasatch mountains, Savannah learned to enjoy being outside in all seasons: digging in the sandbox, playing on the trampoline, jumping in leaves, and sledding down the hill in the backyard. She explored new passions during her time studying Sociology at Utah State University and bleeds blue through and through. Go Aggies! One of those passions was for working with people and helping kids succeed! After a stint as a congressional intern in Washington D.C. Savannah discovered a love for after-school programs working with Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Salt Lake. She then worked for Big Brothers Big Sisters matching kids with mentors before finding a new home at UAN. Nowadays you can find her reading books, watching sports, doing homework for grad school, or kayaking in the mountains!
