If you were to describe Kristen Knoche to a stranger, you might start with her affinity for pebbled ice, appreciation for soccer, and a surprisingly large number of hiccups. Although she is a native to Utah, she enjoys exploring new terrain within our state lines, like the Peace Gardens and Lake Blanche. Kristen graduated from UVU in 2016 with a bachelor's degree in speech communication. She has enjoyed advocating for youth with multiple organizations, including Big Brothers Big Sisters, UVU PREP, GEAR UP, Community Action’s childcare, and the Provo School District Afterschool Program. Passionate about creating strong communities through strengthening youth, Kristen hopes to empower afterschool programs with the ability and tools to best serve children while working with UAN.
