Erica Andino

Out-of-School Time Specialist

Hailing from Coney Island, Brooklyn, New York; Erica is a proud Nuyorican who enjoys things that take her back to her roots. She grew up in the foster care system during her teen years but has proven her resilience by dedicating 11 years of her life to working with afterschool youth in Salt Lake City. Erica loves learning about cultures around the world and working with the youth who represent those cultures. In her spare time, she likes to listen to Soca and Dancehall Reggae, sewing, cooking, and enjoys playing and coaching volleyball. Catch her once a year, during the holiday season when she makes Coquito and Pasteles: traditional Puerto Rican dishes. Erica is excited to hit the ground running with her Caribbean flavor and become more familiar with youth across the State of Utah.
