When school’s out, Clubs are in! During our summer program, youth and staff enjoy all that summer is made of. Our full-day summer programs offer opportunities for youth to participate in sports, games, outdoor fun, field trips, and educational activities to prevent summer learning loss.
Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Salt Lake offers summer employees exciting activities and adventures, positive company culture, and the chance to make an impact in the lives of our community’s youth.
• Plan and implement fun and engaging activities
• Promote, encourage, and support members in program participation
• Attend to the physical and emotional safety of each member
• Plan and participate in special programs, field trips, and/or events
• Make sound, independent judgment when unexpected circumstances arise
• Be positive, upbeat, and enthusiastic about working with youth
• Ability to manage large groups of adolescents and/or teens
• Attend required staff meetings and pre-summer training


• Must be at least 21 years old
• High school diploma or GED
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check
• Must be able to pass drug screening
• Must be able and willing to drive 15 passenger vehicles and have a good driving record
• Able to function for more than 2 hours on your feet
• Be adaptable and flexible to change
• Able to handle stressful and sometimes chaotic environments
• Assume other responsibilities as assigned by supervisor
• $11.00- 13.00 per hour DOE
• Positions beings June 3, 2019 and end August 9, 2019
• Full and part-time positions available
• Morning, afternoon, early evening shifts available
• No work on the weekends, 4th of July, and Pioneer Day
