POSITION SUMMARY:

This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. The Site Director is responsible for management and direct oversite of an after school program to include staff hiring, curriculum execution, programmatic management, relationship building, and staff development to ensure success of program. Duties include but are not limited to program development, hiring and management of staff, data and grant management, budgeting, program promotion and recruitment, community involvement within schools and other organizations/businesses, and relationship building with youth, families, and staff.

Under the guidance of the Assistant Director, the Site Coordinator is a part-time position (up to 29 hours per week) MONDAY- FRIDAY (12:30-6:30pm)

Some mileage reimbursement available.

QUALIFICATIONS:

21 years of age or older (exceptions for Jr. High schools)
High school graduate or equivalent.
1 - 3 years or more of experience working with school aged children preferred.
1 - 2 years or more of supervisory experience preferred.
Current Department of Child Care Licensing approved CPR/First Aid (must include infant/child certification); Food Handlers Permit (both earned within 30 days of employment).
Department of Child Care Licensing fingerprinting and background check (within 10 days of employment).
Completion of 2.5 hours of Department of Workforce training prior to entering program.
Child Abuse Prevention Training (within 30 days of employment).
Prefer knowledge of, and previous experience with, diverse populations (language, culture, race, physical ability, sexual orientation, etc.). Ability to speak any language in addition to English may be helpful.
Computer Proficiencies: Highly proficient in Google Platform.
