STEM Saturday | Making for Educators

Registration is closed for this event

Don't miss out on this opportunity to learn from the nationally recognized Digital Harbor Foundation and get inspired as you prepare for summer programming. Making for Educators will help unwrap the maker movement, and cover both the mindsets and tools needed to convert any space into a makerspace. Participants will make a variety of different maker projects and learn how to present challenges, encourage creativity, and introduce technology to young makers. Participants will also learn how Digital Harbor Foundation converted a closed down recreation center into a thriving youth makerspace that has sent students to the White House Science Fair, collaborated with Mythbuster's Adam Savage, and provided a creative outlet for hundreds of kids in South Baltimore.
